Terms & Conditions

1. All dimensions are in millimetres (mm). For orders with customized dimensions, the customer should provide measurements in mm (numbers in any other unit are not accepted).
2. First-time delivery service for mattress series is free of charge.
3. Once the order is signed and confirmed by the customer, no change on dimensions or structure shall be allowed.
4. German Pool should be informed in advance by the customer regarding any special requirements at the delivery address (e.g. the need to hand-push the goods for a distance of over 50 m, the use of a crane, etc.). Site survey will be arranged, and a quotation will be provided subsequently.
5. Old mattress removal service, if needed, will be charged separately. (Ask German Pool staff for a quotation)
6. Delivery time is approximately 20 working days.
7. All goods would be delivered to the living area of the delivery address.
8. Before placing an order, the customer should ensure the goods would fit in the delivery address and comply with all restrictions in the building. We shall not be liable for installation failure due to restraint of any kind at the delivery address.
9. For any building without a lift or any floor accessible only by stairs, an additional delivery fee will be charged (for first 3 floors: HK$80/floor per item; for 4th floor and above: HK$150/floor per item). Every 8 steps are to be con-sidered one floor.
10. A surcharge is required for any address in remote areas: HK$100 for Tung Chung or Ma Wan; HK$300 for Discovery Bay. (For outlying islands or other regions, please inquire for pricing).
11. All additional charges must be settled by cash upon delivery.
12. No refund of delivery fee will be granted if a delivery failure is the result of an unattended delivery address upon the arrival of goods. Should delivery be rescheduled in such circumstance, additional delivery fee will be charged.
13. Upon the receipt of goods, the customer should check their condition and quantity. Once a receipt document is signed, German Pool shall no longer be held liable for the goods.
14. During delivery, the customer should take good care of and protect the furniture, flooring, ceiling, walls, decoration and other belongings at the delivery address. We are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss.
15. On “10-year Warranty on Mattress Springs”:
    a) The customer should keep the sales invoice or receipt in a safe place after the delivery.
    b) At the time of repair service, the customer should present the proof of purchase (original invoice or sales receipt) for verification by the technician. Otherwise, no free repair service on mattress spring structure will be provided.
    c) German Pool should not be held responsible for any damage as a result of misuse, negligence, transportation, normal wear and tear, accidents, natural disasters and/or false repair or modification done by unauthorized personnel.
    d) Warranty period would not be extended due to repair or exchange.
    e) Service area includes Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories only. Additional charges will apply to remote locations and outlying islands.
    f) Based on the actual circumstances and requirements, German Pool will decide whether a repair is to be done on-site or at the workshop.
    g) The free repair service under this warranty does not cover any cost of the transportation of goods. Should an off-site repair or exchange be required, there shall be additional transportation charges (to be quoted separately).
16. Mattress warranty coverage does not include the followings:
    a) Any personal, subjective preference in regards to hardness, touch, material, appearance, smell, etc.
    b) Any normal wear and tear (including press marks caused by bodyweight, fabric pilling, oxidation of materials, colour fading, decline of hardness, etc.)
    c) Any damage caused by human factor (e.g. cuts, scratches, cracks, burn marks, dying, stains or bending caused by sharp or external objects)
    d) Any condition caused by improper care or external factors (e.g. moulding, discolouring or foul smell as a result of exposure to humid environment; shrinking or deformation as a result of high-heat cleaning or treatment, exposure to the sun and/or inappropriate chemicals)
    e) Any minor issue unrelated to the structure or function of the mattress (e.g. appearance flaws such as alignment of stitches, loose ends of thread, patching of fabric, etc.)
    f) ±15 mm of measurement discrepancy (width, length or height)
    g) Damages caused by the usage of an inappropriate bed frame (e.g. uneven structure, insufficient support, irregular netting, etc.)
    h) Any mattress parts other than the springs, including fabric covering, thread, sponge and/or filling content (additional fees shall be charged if a repair is needed)
    i) Abnormal or non-domestic usage of the mattress.
    j) Any medical or health-related condition (e.g. allergic reaction, discomfort, back pain, etc.)
17. German Pool reserves the final right to interpret the terms and conditions herein.
18. In the event of conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
